Sync with LEAP

Overview

For Law Firms using LEAP already setup in ConnectSmart Manager, when a new staff member joins the firm or the firm opens a new branch, there are a few ways to set them up

Just remember that a User must exist in ConnectSmart Manager before any licences or services can be allocated to them and the User in LEAP must be licenced for them to be available to Sync

Steps

First, login as a Manager or Director into ConnectSmart Manager

Select Integrations and then click Sync with LEAP

This will download the latest data from LEAP for the firm and compared to the data in Manager

A handy 4 step wizard will then be presented to the User

Step 1 - Account

This will display the firms name which doesn't normally change very often

Step 2 - Locations

Displays the firms Branches in LEAP

Any changes will be shown by a different coloured status symbol

These are New Updates, New Location, Deleted or Insync

Click on New Updates to view the changes and select what to sync into Manager

Selecting a Deleted location to Sync will only remove the link to LEAP, it won't delete the Location

Step 3 - Users

Displays the firms Staff in LEAP

Any changes will be shown by a different coloured status symbol

These are New Updates, New Location, Deleted or Insync

Click on New Updates to view the changes and select what to sync into Manager

Selecting a Deleted User to Sync will only remove the link to LEAP, it won't delete the User

Step 4 - Summary

Will display an overview of pending updates

Click Finish to complete the Sync

Once complete, you will be able to see the new or updated Users and Locations

Remember, for your firm and staff members security, each LEAP User must authorise ConnectSmart to integrate with LEAP on their behalf before using CallSmart, PrintSmart or any other LEAP integration
